Tour Plan

Meet and greet at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
After breakfast at the hotel, we will have a morning walk in the pink city of Yerevan. This ancient city is 29 years older than Rome. We will start walking in the most pleasant Republic Square with Government buildings, History Museum, and Marriott Hotel surrounding it. In the evening, we can enjoy the colorful singing and dancing fountains. Walking up one of the oldest streets in Yerevan – Abovyan Street – we will appear on the richest avenue in Yerevan – the Northern Avenue with many brand shops, luxurious cafes, and restaurants. Our next stop – the Opera and Ballet House and the Swan Lake – face Northern Avenue. We will enjoy our time in the fascinating weather of sunny Yerevan while walking around Cascade Monument. If we walk up the “huge staircase” of 500 meters in height and 50 meters in width, we can enjoy the wonderful panorama of the city with the spectacular Opera House, Mount Ararat as well as the view of the whole city. We will then walk up the huge stairs to the Park of Freedom. Here the whole city seems to be in our hands. Weather permitting, we will have a gorgeous view over the Biblical Mount Ararat. During the second half of the day, we will drive to Aragatsotn Region to explore the heartwarming 13th-century Saghmosavank Monastery and enjoy the view over the Kasakh river gorge. The complex itself is perched atop the gorge. Return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to the azure Lake Sevan. Lake Sevan has a unique combination of great size, high mountain location, and comparatively “soft water”. Lake Sevan is one of the greatest freshwater highmountain lakes in Eurasia. It is located at about 2000 meters above sea level. (Optional* lunch tasting barbeque from Sevan trout. Optional* boat ride during the summer). We will then explore the summer residence of the Favorite Armenian King Ashot the Iron (Ashot Erkat) – Sevanavank Monastery (9th century). Drive to Dilijan to enjoy the 19th-century the appearance of the town. This wonderfully forested region is rich in mineral waters. Some of them are compared with Wichi in France and Davos in Switzerland. Dilijan is “the Switzerland of Armenia.” Visit the 13th-century Haghartsin Monastery, situated amid dense forests, and continue to Lake Parz (Clear Lake). After enjoying our time in nature, we will have to return to Yerevan. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
After breakfast at the hotel, a peaceful and scenic two and a half hours will take us to a forest with many unique trees and plants – Dendropark. Part of them is brought from the Yerevan botanical garden, the rest from different countries, such as Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, Germany, France, and elsewhere. Return to Yerevan with a stop at the Armenian Alphabet Monument. Overnight at the hotel in Yerevan.
